Maps on the net
If you want to visit Arvika or other towns in the region there are detailed maps (including street names, searches, print-outs, directions etc) available at eniro.se
and hitta.se. Lantmäteriet (the surveyor's office) provides many maps, some of which are for sale. Länsstyrelserna (the County Administrations) provides a partly public map service.
Printed maps
Various printed maps are provided or sold by the municipality. The Tourist office stocks a visitor's map (free of charge), the Arvika recreation map, Glaskog map and other maps. At "Planering och utveckling" in the town hall you can buy maps with street names for all the towns in the municipality.
